After Mr. & Mrs. Roberta J Carroll opened Park Rug & Dry Cleaners in downtown Chestertown in April 1934 and moved the business to nearby Kingstown the following year, their son Alan Carroll grew the business into a full-service dry cleaner, rug cleaning plant, and flooring retailer.
In 2008. Alan’s grandson Bob Schauber reopened the business under the new name of Chesapeake Family Flooring, family owned & operated by lifelong members of the local community!
